GENIUS Olympiad is committed to following best practices related to COVID-19. Although our team was hopeful that newly developed vaccines would allow for an in-person event for 2022, we realize that the new more potent varients continue emposing travel and gathering restrictions which makes an in-person GENIUS Olympiad an extremely limited event. Recently, such large events started requiring Covid vaccinations and boosters, which limits who may attend an in person event. We are pleased to announce that GENIUS Olympiad will not be cancelled but will be held virtually this year! However, GENIUS Robotics competition will not be held in 2022 due to the limitations of virtual environment.
The project application process, project rules, and project expectations will not change. Students that advance to become finalists will be asked to record their presentations, upload them to YouTube, and share the link with the GENIUS Olympiad team when registering to participate.
